Mind+Body Fertility support combines evidence-based mind+body techniques like Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and coaching techniques to help women navigate the emotional and psychological aspects of the fertility journey. It focuses on regulating the nervous system, reducing stress and emotional burnout, and aligning the mind and body for a more positive experienced and to create a more receptive state for conception to occur either naturally or with the support of assisted fertility protocols and treatments.
Research has shown that Mind+Body techniques also result in better reproductive outcomes for those trying to conceive.
Clients who are trying to conceive naturally, preparing for IVF, recovering from miscarriage, have 'unexplained infertility', PCOS, endometriosis, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea or simply feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stressed and/or burnt out by the journey.
Support goes all the way from pre-conception, through to pregnancy, birth preparation (Kate is also a certified Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator), and post-partum emotional support.
While most of my work is with women, I also support men and couple sessions.
*Note - As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I am also trained to work with medical conditions which can sometimes be connected to the fertility experience, such as mens performance issues, anxiety, stress, mental blocks, fear of parenthood and sub optimal sperm parameters due to stress.
*Note - Research suggests that sperm concentration, motility and morphology can be negatively impacted by high levels of stress.
My highest value is connection so whether your appointment is on Zoom or in person, my goal is to build honest, deep rapport so that you feel comfortable and you get the most from our time together. For context, about 50% of my sessions are done on Zoom v's in person with clients across most/all states of Australia currently.
Sessions are a safe, confidential space where we use a blend of conversational therapy, nervous system regulation, mindset coaching, and hypnotherapy. Each session is tailored to your unique experience, needs, and goals. You can expect to feel heard, supported, and gently guided toward inner calm and clarity.
That depends on your unique journey. Some clients find a few sessions are enough to reset and refocus, while others benefit from ongoing support across different stages of the fertility journey. We’ll always work at a pace that feels supportive, not overwhelming.

The truth is, fertility isn’t just a physical process—it’s emotional, spiritual and psychological. What makes this work different is that we go beyond the “to-do list” of fertility and into your inner world, where so much of your stress, fear, hope, and resilience lives. This work doesn’t replace what you’ve tried—it helps it work better by helping you feel more safe, open, and aligned.
Hypnotherapy can help reduce stress, shift subconscious blocks, and support emotional healing after trauma or loss. It also helps rewire unhelpful thought patterns, build confidence, and bring you into a calmer, more trusting state—physiologically and mentally—supporting your body’s natural capacity for conception.
Absolutely. This work beautifully complements medical treatments like IVF, IUI, or egg freezing. Many of my clients have found that by supporting their emotional wellbeing during these procedures, they experience a calmer, more positive process—and sometimes even better outcomes.
Yes, research has shown that Hypnotherapy alongside IVF can significantly improve rates of implantation.
Ideally, it's great to see clients for a few sessions before commencing an IVF stimulation or transfer to prepare mind and body, however many women come to me once they have already started meds and we roll with it!

Yes, this is something I see often, and I want you to know you’re not alone. Miscarriage can be an incredibly painful and traumatic experience—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Sometimes, even after the body has healed, the nervous system remains on high alert, receiving the message that it’s not yet safe to conceive again.
This is often an unconscious protective mechanism. The mind and body can hold on to the story of past loss, fear, and grief, creating a block that makes it difficult to move forward. The nervous system shifts into protection mode, and without meaning to, the body can stay stuck in a state that says: “It’s not safe.”
The good news is that this can shift—and it doesn’t have to take forever.
Together, we gently create safety at the nervous system level, helping your mind and body come back into balance and trust. Through a combination of conversational therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, somatic (body-based) techniques, and sometimes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) to process and release the trauma of miscarriage, we help your system move through its hesitations and return to a place where conception can happen more naturally.
The aim is to support you in feeling safe, peaceful, and hopeful again—not just to conceive, but to truly live and thrive.

Hypnotherapy is so often misunderstood thanks to TV shows and stage acts. In reality, it’s simply a way of working gently with the subconscious mind—the part of you that holds beliefs, habits, and patterns that may be keeping you in a stress holding pattern.
Hypno'therapy' is used for therapuetic purposes - it's deeply relaxing and a wonderful way of creating shifts and changes in mind, body and spirit.
Think of it more like a guided meditation with specific suggestions to inspire shifts and changes naturally.

Yes! And don't worry, 90% of my clients say this. Hypnotherapy doesn’t require you to be good at relaxing or to have a quiet mind. All you need to do is show up as you are. I guide you through each step, and even the most restless minds find themselves calming down through the process.
Over time, you’ll not only relax in session, but you’ll develop tools to find calm in your everyday life too.
Tears are healing, it allows the body to release excess stress hormone from the body and assist you to regulate your nervous system, all emotions are welcome!
